About Us
The Darwin Ski Club is the recreational and social venue for the members and bona fide guests of the NT Water Ski Association. One of the Club's main aims is to make the Darwin Ski Club's premises a community hub for all water-based sports in the Darwin region. The Ski Club has two crystal clear pools (one for toddlers) that are available for members and their guests to use. Regular water sports are organised including water-skiing and wakeboarding with other sporting clubs based at the Club, including outrigger canoeing, game fishing and dragon boating. A large boat park is available for members who wish to store their boat in a secure area conveniently located near a boat ramp. The Ski Club is also an Internode Internet Hotspot.
| The Ski Club is a fantastic outdoor beachside venue with lush green lawns and lots of space. An outdoor "Bali Bar" is open from 12 noon each day (except Good Friday and Christmas Day) and it is a great place to relax, enjoy a cold drink and a delicious meal from the bistro whilst watching one of Darwin's spectacular sunsets. The Ski Club is very family friendly with a huge grassed area for children to play and dogs are also welcome (dogs must be on leads at all times). A large clubroom with a separate bar for inside occasions and an ATM is also available. | ![]() |
The bistro kitchen is open for lunch and dinner every day, serving delectable meals at reasonable prices to cater for the whole family. Function catering is a speciality.
Each Friday and Sunday night there is live music from various local and interstate bands. The Ski Club is one of the only places around town that still has the rustic 'old Darwin' feel about it.
Membership fees are kept low so that everyone has the opportunity to join the Northern Territory Water Ski Association and enjoy the fantastic benefits of being a member of the Darwin Ski Club.
